OUR MISSION
The mission of the Coalition is to enhance and encourage public understanding and support of
K-12 public education in Orange County through the cooperative efforts of local educational
foundations.
|
A 501(c)(3) Fed.ID# 33-0927025 nonprofit foundation established in 2001, the Coalition seeks to:
- Provide a vehicle that enables corporations and charitable foundations to direct their
contributions in a way that meets their educational objectives and receives appropriate
recognition
- Conduct programs that help develop and support new local educational foundations and
strengthen existing foundations
Until now, local educational foundations have
operated as separate entities. We believe that by sharing
knowledge and experience with one another we can serve our own
communities more effectively and that by working together we can
generate greater support for Orange County public schools and students.
